ACG Identification Technologies announces its HF Multi ISO Reader platform. This family of 13.56 MHz RFID readers is designed to meet the requirements for both secure personal identity verification and supply chain management applications. Typical applications of the HF Multi ISO Reader platform include access control, e-payment, e-ticketing for events and mass transit, toll road fare collection, network authentication, logistics and supply chain management. The ACG HF Multi ISO Reader provides state-of-the-art security features needed for advanced contactless user authentication applications based on high data storage capacity microcontroller cards. Optimized data throughput rates allow the total time required for contactless transactions to be minimized. The HF Multi ISO Reader also offers a high level of interoperability, with support for ISO14443A/B, ISO 15693, ISO 18000-3 and I-CODE protocols. This broad interoperability allows the reader to be used in item identification applications, such as those typically found in the manufacturing, distribution and retail environments. ACG’s Multi ISO reader is available in five versions: an OEM module, compact plug & play modules with RS232 or RS422/485, a short range plug & play module with USB 2.0 and a plug-in module for mobile devices.
