Otek Corporation announces its model TR550 transmitter that can be used as a stand-alone wired data logger or as a serial link (RS232/485) with a selectable baud rate from 1200 to 19.2 KB, 8N1. Since the transmitter has its own offset and scale controls, the data can be sent serially in engineering unit format, i.e., pressure in psi, voltage in volts, etc. Designed for wireless data logging and wireless ON/OFF control for any variable converted to V/mADC, this transmitter offers eight 4 to 20 mA inputs/outputs and alarms. Features include multiple transmitters and receivers (255 addresses), serial data of each channel, on demand or polling. Hi/Lo limits are programmable for each channel.
