Frequency Multiplier Modules

Link Microtek introduces its HMC-C031, HMC-C032, HMC-C033 and HMC-C034 active x2 frequency multiplier modules that provide output frequency coverage from 6 to 46 GHz. These devices feature low phase noise and high output power, as well as desirable fundamental and sub-harmonic suppression for microwave communications, radar, test equipment and general laboratory applications. These multipliers are fabricated using GaAs pHEMT technology, and they are packaged in miniature hermetic 41.66 3 27.59 3 8.50 mm connectorized modules. They are appropriate for LO multiplier chains, exhibiting SSB phase noise as low as 𤩼 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz offset. They incorporate DC blocked I/Os, together with over-voltage and reverse-voltage protection for robust operation.
