SAW Filter

Link Microtek announces a low-loss SAW (surface acoustic wave) filter designed for GPS applications. Manufactured by Sawtek (a TriQuint company), the 856308 device offers a typical insertion loss of 1.0 dB, with a maximum value of 1.4 dB. The SAW filter has a center frequency of 1575.42 MHz with a usable bandwidth of 2 MHz and a typical passband variation of 0.25 dB peak-to-peak. It features single-ended operation at 50Ω and requires no impedance matching. Supplied taped and reeled ready for automatic surface-mount assembly, the device is housed in a hermetically sealed ceramic chip-scale package measuring 2.00 × 1.50 × 0.76 mm and has an operating temperature range of – 40 to +85°C.
