Link Microtek announces a series of low cost coaxial terminations that are suitable for use in a variety of microwave systems and test-and-measurement applications in the commercial wireless communications sector. The T-N-17-6 series 50Ω terminations are manufactured by Narda Microwave and provide desirable performance over their specified operating frequency range of DC to 6 GHz. Featuring a low reflection coefficient (VSWR) of typically 1.1:1 for frequencies up to 3 GHz, the T-N-17-6 series comprises six models offering average power handling capabilities of 1, 2, 5, 35, 50 or 100 W at an ambient temperature of 25°C. The higher-power devices in the range are equipped with specially designed cooling fins to provide optimum heat dissipation, and all models have N-type connectors. The terminations are available in sizes ranging from 21.08(D) × 31.75(L) mm to 88.90(D) × 183.39(L) mm.
