Delivers up to 18 dBm Output Power Compliant with IEEE 802.15.4 Includes an Integrated Microcontroller

Radiocrafts AS announces its model RC2201HP compact high power RF module design for ZigBee that operates at 2.45 GHz. The module delivers up to 18 dBm output power, and it has an increased communication range up to 10 times more than standard low output power modules. The module is compliant with IEEE 802.15.4, and it is designed for ZigBee full function device (FFD) and reduced function device (RFD) operation, or other protocol stacks using star or mesh topologies. The complete shielded module measures 16.5吟.6ࡩ.5 mm, and it is optionally available with an integrated antenna. An integrated microcontroller makes it possible to embed the complete application in this small module. Low power modes for increased battery life are also available.
