RF Modules

Radiocrafts launches a series of RF modules, the RC1040, RC1080, and RC1090. The series are a low power, two-way radio solution with an embedded protocol. The completely shielded modules made for surface mounting measure 12.7 × 25.4 × 3.5 mm. Data buffering, addressing and error check are all handled by the embedded RC232 protocol. A standard UART serial bus is the interface to the host. Typical applications include home, building and industrial automation, automatic meter reading, remote control and telemetry, fleet and asset management. RC1040 and RC1080 are designed for operation in the license free bands in Europe at 433 and 868 MHz respectively, whereas RC1090 operates under FCC regulations for use in USA and Canada at 902 to 928 MHz. The modules are multi-channel transceivers with up to 9 channels, 10 dBm output power and 𤩔 dBm sensitivity at 19.2 kbit/s.
