Pericom Semiconductor Corporation introduces a family of advanced analog switches created for mobile terminal applications and featuring Chip Scale Packaging (CSP). The PI5A4xxx ICs are dual high-bandwidth SPDT and SP3T CMOS analog switches housed in 2 × 1.5 × 0.6 mm CSP packaging. Features include: dual SPDT or dual SP3T configurations, low Ron between 0.5Ω and 0.95Ω at +2.7 V supply; Vcc range: +1.65 to +5.5 V; break-before-make switching; on-chip comparator for mute detection; on-chip shunt switches reduce audio popping/clicking; high off-isolation: – 42 to – 53 dB; and low cross-talk rejection of – 80 dB.
