AR Worldwide has added more options to its line of high power "A" series amplifiers with the 1000 W model 1000A250. The new model is designed for the 100 kHz to 250 MHz frequency range. This model provides RF power for applications such as RF susceptibility testing, antenna and component testing, watt meter calibration, particle accelerators, plasma generation, communications and for use as a driver for high power amplifiers. The 1000A250 offers control and status reporting capabilities, including remote control and remote status indicators. Special features include a gain control, internal/external automatic level control (ALC) with front panel control of the ALC threshold, pulse input capability and RF output level protection. Also included is an internal RF detector which provides an output for use in self-testing or operational modes.
