Ultra-Small SMT Oscillator

Measuring 0.380 inches×  0.380 inches × 0.220 inches, Crystek Corporation offers the CVCO38CC-3660-3700 voltage-controlled oscillator. Operating from 3,660 to 3,700 MHz at a tuning voltage range from 0.300 to 4.7000 VDC, the device has an output power of +4.000 dBm (typ.) for a 50 Ω load with a supply of +5.000 VDC. With a typical consumption of 30 mA, the SMT oscillator has pushing and pulling levels minimized to 1.000 MHz/V and 2.500 MHz, respectively, a typical phase noise level of -108.690 dBc/Hz at 10 KHz offset, and a second harmonic suppression of -15 dBc typical. The coaxial resonator oscillator is appropriate for use in applications such as digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communications systems, and base stations.
