Crystek introduces its Pocket Reference Oscillator (PRO Series), a frequency control product that integrates a complete HCMOS crystal clock oscillator in a rugged SMA housing. Connecting the female SMA side to +3.3 VDC produces a clean, low-jitter signal from the male SMA side. In effect, each oscillator is a fixed frequency portable crystal generator. The oscillators offer frequency stability of ± 25 ppm over 0° C to +70° C (operating temperature range rated at -40° C to +85° C, storage rated at -45° C to 90° C). These oscillators are available off-the-shelf in frequencies from 4 MHz to 125 MHz, and they are suitable for laboratory and test instrument use.
