Sinewave VCXO

Crystek launches the CVSS-940 — a true sinewave voltage controlled crystal oscillator (VCXO) providing – 150 dBc/Hz noise floor and ± 50 ppm minimum APR pullability. This VCXO is available in a 9 × 14 mm SMD package. The CVSS-940 VCXO generates frequencies between 77.760 MHz and 500 MHz, with output level of 0 dBm minimum into 50Ω and harmonics lower than – 20 dBc. The CVSS-940 consumes 25 mA typical and 30 mA maximum current at 3.3 V. The CVSS-940 has low or no sub-harmonics depending on frequency due to the use of Inverted Mesa (High Frequency Fundamental Crystal) technology. The CVSS-940 is suited for telecom applications such as 10 Gb Ethernet, broadband networks, SONET/SDH/DWD, network/switch and ATM communications.
