Withstanding Chip Resistors

TT electronics introduces IRC Advanced Film Division’s pulse-withstanding chip resistors combine extended surge values with high voltage ratings. Designated the PWC Series, the resistors — appropriate for power supplies and circuit protection devices — are available in 0805, 1206, 2010 and 2512 chip sizes. The PWC Series resistors are also suitable for portable battery chargers, motor controls and line-powered equipment. In the 0805, 1206, 2010, and 2512 package sizes, the PWC Series resistors feature power ratings of 125 mW, 330 mW, 750 mW and 1.5 W, with maximum voltage ratings of 150 V, 200 V, 400 V and 500 V. Resistance range is from 1.0Ω to 10MΩ, with available tolerances from ۪.5% to ۯ%. Absolute TCRs are 𫏌ppm/°C at 10Ω and higher and 𫐰ppm/°C at less than 10Ω. Operating temperature range is 㫏°C to +155°C.
