AC/DC Rectifier

Valere Power announces a high power AC/DC power rectifier in its X7500 family. The X7500A1 features a power capacity of up to 8400 W and 150 A, a 50% improvement over the company’s existing X Series rectifiers in the same 2 RU form factor. The X7500A1 features a 48 V output and is made for wireless, enterprise and broadband network applications. With higher power, the scalability of these systems also improves, allowing the powering of today’s networks with fewer rectifiers, leaving power shelf slots open for future expansion. Additionally, the rectifiers can be used in a stand-alone manner without a controller and power shelf, or they can be integrated into networking systems by OEMs who need high power density. All Valere Power rectifiers are based on the company’s patented high-efficiency zero-voltage switch mode (ZVSM) power conversion technology. The technology offers 94% efficiency, resulting in rectifiers that are more than 50% smaller and 35% cooler than competing technologies.
