2 W Power Amplifier

M/A-COM, a business unit of Tyco Electronics, announces the MAAP-007649-000100, a 2W power amplifier for the 800 to 1000 MHz frequency band. Its design displays optimum performance for RFID reader applications with greater than 1 W DRM (Dense Reader Mode) spectral mask linearity and a flat gain response. Typical performance at 900 MHz is 19 dB gain, 34 dBm P1dB and 49 dBm output IP3. The device also features good ACPR (Adjacent Channel Power Ratio) linearity performance for cellular infrastructure standards. It requires a single +7.5 V DC supply in addition to a +4.5 V reference pin for power down and power control capability. The device is RoHS compliant, and it is available in 4 mm 16-lead PQFN surface mount packaging.
