S-band Telemetry Transmitter

M/A-COM announces the MATM-090007-SA00XX 1W S-band telemetry transmitter that is suited for rugged, space-limited applications including smart munitions, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missiles and other harsh environment commercial and industrial testing applications. The MATM-090007-SA00XX telemetry transmitter is fully customizable in functionality and form factor for each end-user application. The unit is 31.8 × 41.4 × 5.1 mm in size and available in other form factors including a 48 mm diameter unit. It utilizes a single + 5.0 V regulated supply voltage with reverse bias and over-voltage protection. Additionally, the design of this telemetry transmitter is capable of achieving a data range of 500 to 20 Mb/s, and has an average DC to RF efficiency of 33%.
