Converters for Wireless RF Amplifiers

Lambda launches its PAH450S series of 450 W pcb-mount DC/DC converters for use in RF power amplifiers used in wireless base stations, cell repeaters and mobile communications systems. These modules can endure extreme ambient temperature swings, enable low heat dissipation and provide a wide output adjustment for optimum amplifier performance. They can operate at full power with a baseplate temperature ranging from -40° C to +100° C, and they feature threaded inserts to allow cooling via a cold plate or standard heat sinks. Other features include over-current and over-voltage protection, and remote ON/OFF control. The units are safety-approved to UL/CSA/EN60950-1, are EMI shielded, and they carry the CE mark.
