Lambda has introduced the MA and MX series industrial EMI filters that provide two levels of electrical noise attenuation in the same-size package. The filters are available in five current ratings (6, 10, 16, 20 and 30 A), and they are rated for 250 V AC or 250 V DC input, with a maximum earth leakage current of 1 mA (250 V AC 60 Hz). The single-stage MA series filters attenuate frequencies in the lower 150 to 500 kHz band, the two-stage MX filters do the same over the wider 150 kHz to 30 MHz band. All MA and MX filters come in an identical compact package, allowing the devices to be easily interchanged without the need for mechanical or wiring modifications.
