Its specification was developed in alignment with SiRF Technology, Inc., allowing a perfect fit to PND systems with SiRF’s navigation processors. The unit provides the entire system’s power management, battery management, linear and USB charging, a backlight driver for various screen sizes and a touch screen interface. The IC offers high performance audio functionality with audio DAC, ADC, audio mixer and several audio inputs and outputs in a single device. This feature set, together with the functionality and performance of the unit, ensure a perfect fit to the entire SiRF PND processor family.
