austriamicrosystems expandes its low dropout regulator (LDO) portfolio with the AS1360 LDO operating at an extremely low supply current. The device is designed to extend the operating time of low power applications and allows the use of a small and less expensive 1µF ceramic output capacitor. With an operating input voltage up to 20V, the AS1360 LDO regulator family is available in a range of pre-programmed output voltages of 1.8, 2.5, 3.0, 3.3 or 5.0V. The output voltage itself is regulated with an accuracy of 0.5%, which meets the requirements of portable battery powered products.
