Austriamicrosystems is expanding it’s portfolio of step-up DC/DC converters for battery powered products. The AS1325 converter supplies 300 mA output current for portable products where small size and low power consumption are necessary. With an efficiency of 96%, the AS1325 is an ideal solution for battery powered portable applications with the need for 3.3 or 5.0 V supply voltage. The device offers an increased output current, providing a supply voltage 1.5 to 3.5 V (for 3.3 V output voltage) or 1.5 to 5.0 V (for 5.0 V output voltage). Supplied with less than 2 V, the AS1325 is capable of delivering a 300 mA output current at 5.0 V output voltage or 185 mA at 3.3 V output voltages.
