CML Microcircuits launches its CMX7143 with GMSK functionality. This highly integrated and adaptable multi-mode wireless data modem IC is built on proprietary FirmASIC component technology. Positioned to address global market requirements for multi-mode wireless data connectivity, the modem offers the ability to implement different wireless data schemes. It is also targeted at Point-to-Point telemetry systems, traffic location systems and any other wireless data modem applications that require configurable multi-mode modem flexibility. Features include fast data acquisition, 4.8 kbps to 19.2 kbps data rates, automatic frame sync detection (AFSD), flexible raw and packet data modes, soft decision decoding, RSSI processing and a C-BUS serial interface to the host microcontroller.
