Small Ceramic Servo Motor Drives Linear or Rotary Motion



Nanomotion introduces its small ceramic servo EDGE motor that provides 30 g of thrust with a maximum operating velocity of 150 mm/sec. Capable of driving linear or rotary motion, the motor is suitable for applications in aerospace and military, medical devices and industrial automation. The motor weighs .6 g, and it operates at 8 Vrms. It is supported by a proprietary dual axis ASIC which can function as a drive and a control. The motor is suitable for shutter/aperture control, small medical pumps and grippers.
