Tyco Electronics Power Systems announces its ATL series converters. These point-of-load (POL) DC/DC converters are designed to support battery power sourced applications. The ATL010A0X43-SRZ supports an input voltage range of 9 to 18 VDC, with a programmable output range of 0.75 to 5 VDC using an external resistor. This non-isolated module can deliver up to 10 A of output current with full load efficiency of 93% at 3.3 V output. In addition to a wide range input to support battery powered sources, the ATL series supports EZ-SEQUENCE, which is a standard offering in the Austin Lynx II series. Standard Austin Lynx features includes remote sense, on/off control, pre-bias immunity, monotonic start-up, over-current and over-temperature protection. The EU RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC compliant ATL010A0X43-SRZ converter is offered in SMT packaging and measures 1.30 inches× 0.53 inches× 0.326 inches (33.0 × 13.5 × 8.28 mm). The converter can be operated under temperatures ranging from – 40°F to 185°F (– 40°C to 85°C).
