GPS Controller

Tyco Electronics announces its GPS receiver A1030-A. The controller is a high performance GPS receiver and a microprocessor module with communication and digital I/O capabilities. Running Tyco´s GPS software, it offers high sensitivity along with good TTFF values at low power consumption for a range of standard GPS applications. The A1030-A is Tyco Electronics' latest GPS receiver extending the GPS receiver family based on ST Microelectronics' STA2051 base band controller and SiGe's SE 4100L RF downconverter. Capable of receiving signals from up to 12 GPS satellites, the receiver transfers them into position and timing information that can be read over a serial port.
