TT Electronics BI Technologies announces an RoHS-compliant, 3 mm multi-turn potentiometer with top adjust capabilities. Designated the Model 43 trimmer, the cermet trimming potentiometer’s size matches the smallest multi-turn sealed surface mount trimmers in the industry, according to the company. The 43 series devices are suited for applications involving cellular basestations, night vision systems, set-top boxes and portable test & measurement equipment. The cermet trimming potentiometers have a resistance range of 10Ω to 2 MΩ, with standard tolerance to ± 20% and absolute TCR values to ± 100 ppm/° C; with power ratings to 0.125 W at 70° C. Operating temperature range is – 65° C to +150° C, and the devices are RoHS compliant. Available in J-hook surface mount packaging, the 43 Series potentiometers are compatible with automated placement equipment, and are sold in tape and reel packaging.
