Power Control IC

The LNBP21 voltage regulator uses a step-up DC/DC converter so it can work from a single input voltage between 8 V and 15 V. The device features 22 kHz tone signaling, to allow the LNB to be controlled using the Eutelsat DiSEqC protocol. The device is also integrated with an I2C bi-directional bus interface to offer another way to control the LNB. The part offers short-circuit protection and diagnostics of the LNB. Protection against electrostatic discharge of up to 4 kV on the power input-output pins has been included.
