Radio on a Chip Transceiver

Honeywell introduces a radio on a chip transceiver operating in the 860 to 928 MHz frequency range for voice and data applications. The HRF-ROC093XC communicates on a single channel up to a range of 2,000 feet, at a data rate of 128 kilobytes per second. The transceiver requires an off-the-shelf microcontroller, antenna and 2.4 volts of power. Software and specialized features on the chip controls incoming and outgoing data flow as well as automatically hopping from frequency to open frequency within the 860 to 928 MHz frequency bands.
