High-Gain IF Amplifier

NEC introduces its model UPC3232TB SiGe amplifier IC that delivers 33.5 dB of gain flat to 3 GHz, making it suitable for use as an IF amplifier in DBS low noise block down converters or as a basic gain block. It features low current operation, wide dynamic range, 40 dB isolation and an input/output match that is more than 1.7:1 into 50W, making it easy to design into circuits. This amplifier is housed in a miniature RoHS-compliant TB package. With a footprint of 2.0 3 2.1 mm and a 0.9 mm profile, it is appropriate for use in miniature designs.
