Power MOSFETs

NEC Electronics America introduces the latest additions to its line of low-voltage power management devices (PMDs), the uPA2450B and uPA2451B power MOSFETs. Developed using NEC Electronics’ advanced packaging technology, these dual N-channel MOSFETs have low packaging profiles and are suitable for use in portable battery-powered applications such as MP3 players, mobile wireless devices, lithium-ion battery packs and glucose meters. The devices are manufactured in NEC Electronics’ CMOS 4 process technology to enable a higher conversion efficiency and smaller cell. With a low on-state resistance of 12.5 mΩ (typical) at a 4.5 V gate drive, and VDSS from 20 to 30 V, the new devices are able to extend battery life for portable applications.
