Frequency Synthesizers

EM Research introduces several frequency synthesizers. The LX-1450 is serially-programmable to cover the frequency range of 950 to 1450 MHz in 10 KHz to 1 MHz step sizes, operates off +5 VDC at <55 mA, has > +7 dBm output, and exhibits phase noise better than – 80 dBc/Hz at 10 KHz offset. The PN-1450 is supplied with an internal frequency reference, is serially-programmable to cover the frequency range of 950 to 1450 MHz in 10 KHz to 1 MHz step sizes. The PN-1450 operates off +5 VDC at < 60 mA, has > +7 dBm output, and exhibits phase noise better than – 88 dBc/Hz at 10 KHz offset. The LT-2150 is serially-programmable to cover the frequency range of 950 to 2150 MHz in 10 KHz to 1 MHz step sizes, operates off +5 VDC at < 80 mA, has >+7 dBm output, and exhibits phase noise better than 㫰 dBc/Hz at 10 KHz offset. The THOR-13050 is a fixed-frequency, externally-referenced phase-locked oscillator used as the local oscillator in down-converting 14.0 to 14.5 GHz frequencies to 950 to 1450 MHz. While consuming less than 1.25 watts (+5 VDC at 250 mA) power, THOR-13050 outputs +7 dBm and features phase noise lower than – 87 dBc/Hz at 10 KHz offset, and – 112 dBc/Hz at 100 KHz offset.
