Cadence Design Systems, Inc. and Denali Software, Inc. have announced support for Cadence® Encounter® RTL Compiler global synthesis on Databahn™ memory controller products enabling customers to achieve smaller, faster and lower power implementations for Databahn DRAM controller designs that use simple synthesis script modifications combined with multi-objective optimization to achieve significant advantages in area, speed and performance. The RTL Compiler is said to improve performance, reduce die sizes, lower power consumption and speed up design closure through place and route.
