The 9XTend wireless transceiver from Maxstream provides OEMs with 256-bit AES encryption, power output of 1 mW to 1 W (software selectable), transmission range up to 3000 ft. indoor/urban environments, up to 40 miles line-of-sight), and 900 MHz data throughput of up to 115 kbps sustainable RF data rate, up to 230 kbps interface data rate). The transceiver is suitable for secure, critical and long-range applications including homeland security, remote monitoring, building automation systems, automated teller machines, point-of-sale terminals, and keyless/remote access systems.
