ETS-Lindgren announces the release of the AMS-8050, a wireless antenna measurement lab that rolls on wheels. Although compact in size, the AMS-8050 performs like larger chambers and can be used for design validation, pre-certification testing and performance measurement. A comparison of measurements taken in the AMS-8050 and full-compliance chambers shows good agreement. The AMS-8050 includes the RF absorber lined enclosure with RF sealing door, automated multi-axis positioner and controller, EMQuest EMQ-100 software, operational training video, dual polarized antenna (700 MHz to 6 GHz), basic setup and calibration, plus a basic equipment driver selection, power filers, cables, etc. Options include a SAM Phantom head, a mount for devices like laptops, an internal camera, and additional equipment drivers.
