Coaxial Transmission Line

Radio Frequency Systems (RFS) has developed the next generation of its CELLFLEX series coaxial transmission line. CELLFLEX "A" premium attenuation is an enhancement of RFS’ existing CELLFLEX "A" feeder cable series — this time specifically tailored to the needs of broadband wireless data applications. It offers further attenuation improvements of up to eight percent attenuation in cable sizes of , 1 and 1 inch diameters. The new generation of feeder cable incorporates a choice of standard UV-resistant polyethylene, as well as flame and fire retardant jacket options. The attenuation cable has been designed for backward-compatibility with the company’s RAPID FIT two-piece connector line. The series and RAPID FIT cable and connector assembly offers reduced return loss across the frequency range — up to a 6 dB improvement at 2.2 GHz — and exhibits consistently low stable intermodulation levels.
