ESD Protection Arrays Offer Low Capacitance and Leakage Current
Vishay Intertechnology’s 2-line VBUS052CD-FAH and 4-line VIS054CD-FHI ESD protection arrays exhibit a load capacitance of 0.8 pF and max. leakage current of <1 µA at a working voltage of 5 V. The 0.6-mm high components present a typ. breakthrough voltage of 7.9 V at 1 mA, a max. clamping voltage of 15 V at 3.5 A, and protection at 15 kV air and contact discharge. The RoHS- and WEEE-compliant units perform in USB 2.0, HDMI, display ports, eSATA, and 1394/Firewire in HDTVs and mobile electronics, including portable gaming systems, mp3 players, and cell phones. The device comes in LLP1713 and LLP2513 packaging, respectively.
