Thick-film Chip Resistor Dividers

Vishay Intertechnology announces the CDHV, a surface mount chip resistor divider with a small size profile that achieves good ratio stability under high voltages. The new resistor divider is designed for use in high-voltage power supplies, power-switching equipment and inverter controls. Manufactured with an alumina substrate, the CDHV is capable of handling voltages up to 3 kV, with a voltage coefficient down to 5 ppm/V. It provides resistance values of 1 MΩ to 20 GΩ that are available in a range of standard and custom resistance ratios from 10:1 to 500:1, with ratio stability of < 0.03 % at full power and 70° C at 2,000 hours. Absolute resistance tolerance options range from 20% down to 1%, with ratio tolerance options to 1%. Its temperature coefficient of resistance is available to 100 ppm/° C over a – 55° C to +150° C operating range.
