Vishay has extended its IHLP family of high-current inductors with two devices offering inductance ranges of 0.1µH to 2.2µH (IHLP 2525EZ 05) and 3.3µH to 10µH (IHLP 2525EZ 01). The inductors serve as solutions for voltage regulator module (VRM) and DC/DC converter applications in products including next generation mobile devices; notebooks, desktop computers, and servers; automotive systems; low-profile, high-current power supplies and POL converters; distributed power systems; and FPGAs. The inductors measure 6.47 × 6.86 mm with a maximum height profile of 5.0 mm. Both occupy the standard 2525 footprint shared by lower-profile IHLP devices while providing higher rated current and lower DCR values. The devices are specified for saturation currents ranging from 10 to 70 A, typical DCR values ranging from 0.81mΩ to 53.3mΩ, and maximum DCR values ranging from 0.93mΩ to 56mΩ. The two inductors feature ± 20% inductance tolerance.
