Vishay announces a family of power SMD LEDs, offfered in a PLCC-3 package with a low 270 k/W thermal resistance rating. A suite of six color options includes super red, red, orange, yellow, pure green, and yellow green, with typical luminous intensity ranging from 50 to 1250 mcd when the LEDs are driven with a forward current of 50 mA. Designed with a non-diffused lens that simplifies backlighting displays and coupling to light pipes, the TLMx320x LEDs can be used in a variety of lighting and display applications. The LEDs are luminous intensity, color, and forward-voltage categorized per packing unit, with a luminous intensity ratio per packing unit of 1.6 or lower.
