Voltage Regulator
Seiko's S-L2985 150 mA positive voltage regulator utilizes CMOS technology in a small footprint. The WLP-4B is an ultra-small wafer level package measuring 1.16 × 0.79 × 0.58 mm, effecting high-density mounting. The S-L2985 is designed for use with small capacitance (0.47µF) ceramic capacitors. The ripple rejection ratio of 80 dB typical assures compatibility with noise sensitive environments while the low current consumption and ON/OFF circuit increase batter life and overall energy efficiency. This package is suited as a power supply for battery powered devices, personal communication devices, home electric and electronic appliances, and cellular phones. With an output accuracy of ± 1% and an output voltage of 1.5 to 5.5 V available in 0.1 V increments, the device consumes 50µA quiescent current typical and 0.1µA typical during shutdown.
