LDOs Consume Low Current
Analog Devices’ ADP120, ADP121 and ADP130 linear LDOs exhibit supply currents <350 mA while consuming from 11 to 24 µA of quiescent current. The components operate at output voltages as low as 1.2 V with a 1 µF ceramic output capacitor. The ADP120 and ADP121 offer 60 dB PSR at 10 kHz, noise figures of 40 µV rms and dropout voltage of 60 mV for 100 mA of current load. The ADP130 uses a dual-supply architecture for a dropout voltage of 17 mV, biasing from a higher input supply and load current sourcing from a lower input supply. Applications include portable audio players, digital still cameras, handheld games and personal navigation systems.
