Aethercomm announces Model Number SSPA 0.020-1.000-25, a broadband, RF solid state amplifier that operates from 20 MHz to 1.0 GHz. This PA is suited for broadband military platforms as well as commercial applications because it is robust and offers high power over a multi-octave bandwidth. This amplifier operates with a base plate temperature of 85°C with minor degradation in power in gain. The output power will typically be reduced by 0.5 to 0.7 dB with a change in temperature from 25° C to 85° C base plate. This SSPA has a minimum P1dB of 10 W at room temperature. Noise figure at room temperature is 7.5dB typical. The SSPA 0.020-1.000-25 offers a minimum gain of 46 dB with a typical gain flatness of ± 2.5 dB. Typical OIP3 is 48 dBm. The device includes an external DC blanking command that enables and disables the module in 2500 nSec max. Standard features include over/under voltage protection, reverse polarity protection and a regulated DC/DC converter.
