RF Solid State Power Amp

Aethercomm introduces Model Number SSPA 0.020-1.000-10, a high power, broadband, RF solid state amplifier that operates from 20 MHz to 1.0 GHz. This PA is appropriate for broadband military platforms as well as commercial applications because it offers high power over a multi-octave bandwidth. This amplifier operates with a base plate temperature of 85° C with minor degradation in power in gain. The output power will typically be reduced by 0.5 to 0.7 dB with a change in temperature from 25°C to 85° C base plate. It is packaged in a modular housing that is approximately 3.4 × 6.4 × 1.0 inches. This SSPA has a minimum P1dB of 6.5 W at room temperature and noise figure at room temperature is 7.5 dB typical. Standard features include over/under voltage protection, reverse polarity protection and a regulated DC/DC converter.
