Aethercomm model SSPA 1.03-1.09-1000-RM is a rack mounted L-band solid-state power amplifier that operates over the 1030 and 1090 MHz bands. This rack mounted PA was designed for secondary surveillance radars and supports IFF interrogator challenge and transponder reply waveforms at 1030 and 1090 MHz. The peak RF power is 1000 W minimum. Power flatness across the entire band is ± 0.5 dB typical. Product specifications include: minimum saturated signal gain 60 dB; Input VSWR 1.5:1 maximum; output VSWR 1.5:1 maximum; noise Figure 10 dB maximum; and harmonics – 30 dBc maximum. This amplifier offers a manual PA turn-on and turn-off command that enables and disables the internal PA’s. The SSPA 1.03-1.09-1000-RM rack mounted assembly is offered in a standard 19 inches rack that is 5 U high. The input RF connector is N-type female, and the output RF connector is N-type female.
