The SSPA 9.5-10.5-10 is a high power, X band, solid state power amplifier that operates from 9.5 to 10.5 GHz. The P1dB at 25°C is 20 watts minimum. The saturated output power is 30 watts typical at 25°C. typical small signal gain at minimum attenuation is 45 dB. Noise figure is 4 dB typical at 25°C. Input VSWR is 2.0:1 maximum. Output VSWR is 2.0:1 maximum. Standard features include reverse polarity protection, output short and open circuit protection, and an integrated DC/DC converter with over/under voltage protection. The amplifier operates from a +12 V DC power supply with a class A bias of typically 14.5 amps. The unit operates from – 40°C to +65°C base plate temperature.
