High Power X Band
Aethercomm P/N SSPA 9.5-10.5-20 is a high power, X band, Solid State Power amplifier. Class AB biasing affords high output power (pulsed or CW) while keeping efficiencies at high levels. This unit can be operated pulsed or CW. Small signal gain across a 1 GHz bandwidth is 40 dB minimum. Typical output power is 20 watts across the band. Input and output VSWR is 2.0 : 1 maximum. PAE is typically 33% across the band. In the CW mode, the minimum OIP3 is 50 dBm across the band. Typical pulsed mode characteristics are 100 uSec on time with a duty cycle of 5% to 25%. Standard features include reverse polarity protection, input/output short and open circuit protection, RF power telemetry, integrated DC-DC converter with over voltage/over current
monitoring and protection.
This SSPA can be used in any system that requires high linearity, high output power and high gain in a rugged and compact module. Standard housing size is 5.5 inches× 9.5 inches× 2.0 inches with an integral heat sink. SMA female connectors are standard on the RF input and output ports. DC and telemetry signals are coupled via DC pins.
