High Power Extended GSM Band Solid State RF Amplifier

Aethercomm Part Number SSPA 0.925-0.960-100 is a high power, extended band GSM single channel amplifier. This model covers the 925 to 960 MHz GSM Band. This unit features a one dB compression point of 51 dBm with 34 dB of gain. Input and Output VSWR are < 1.5:1. The operational voltage is 28 V DC. It offers a minimum of 32% efficiency over the operating temperature range of – 10 ° C to 60 ° C. The gain variation over temperature is <± 0.5 dB with temperature compensation. Gain variation over frequency is typically ± 0.2 dB. Reverse IMD is 90 dBc. Transmit noise figure is typically 10 dB. Harmonics are typically < 40 dBc.

This robust GSM SSPA can operate from – 40 ° C to 85 ° C. Standard features include temperature compensation, 30 dB dynamic range forward power sensor, reverse power monitor, temperature monitoring, and output open/short circuit protection. This unit may be packaged in any enclosure that can be installed in a 19-inch rack mounted system. Typical sizing is 5 H × 13 L × 2 W but the SSPA can be resized with no loss in performance. This SSPA is also offered in a 50-Watt Version.
