Handheld Spectrum Analyzer

Rohde & Schwarz announces that it has expanded the frequency range of its handheld spectrum analyzer to 6 GHz, making it suitable for WLAN 802.11a applications as well as for general lab applications in higher frequency ranges. The R&S FSH6 combines technical values with user-friendly menu guidance. The spectrum analyzer can be tuned by means of channel numbers instead of frequencies and thus facilitates operation for many users from mobile radio and broadcasting. The analyzer includes an adjustable preamplifier for measurements throughout the frequency range. If the preamplifier is switched on, the displayed average noise level of the instrument is typically 135 dBm at 100 Hz bandwidth. The analyzer has a guaranteed measurement accuracy of greater than 1.5 dB.
