Two new software options from Rohde & Schwarz complement both the signal analyzers of its R&S FSQ series as well as the R&S FSU and R&S FSP spectrum analyzers, making the instruments suitable for use in development and production. The R&S FS-K74 option adds HSDPA (high-speed downlink packet access) to the analyzers' WCDMA applications. HSDPA signals are designed to increase the WCDMA data throughput in the future. The second option, R&S FS-K76, makes it possible to perform measurements according to the new TD-SCDMA (time division-synchronous code division multiple access). Its aim is to increase the data throughput of the system.
