C&D Technologies introduces an isolated DC/DC converter that provides a solution for intermediate bus architecture applications in computer and telecommunications equipment. The QUS40-096 has an unregulated output, and a fixed conversion ratio of 5 to 1 that is maintained between the input and output voltage. The module is housed in a compact, industry-standard, quarter-brick footprint package. Operating from an input voltage of 48 VDC, the QUS40-096 has an output voltage set-point of 9.6 VDC. It is able to deliver a maximum output power of 300 W at 38 VDC input, +55°C and 200 LFM airflow and has a typical efficiency of 96.6%.
